I enjoyed the first book in this series, but I loved this one. I read the book in a couple hours and found myself wishing it wouldn't end. The way Amelia Rose describe Darrell and his accident made you feel his pain, worry and fear. I am downloading the story of Marshall as I write this. Great series, wonderful author, I have read several other books by her and find them excellent reads but wishing they were longer.
I love family series, and this is one of those. I also love the character's and how they interweave. Damage reveals strength, will power and finding love. Great book.
I loved the book. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was because I thought Darrell all of a sudden went from Angst and bitterness and physically hurt to being okay very quickly. I know the love of a good woman can change a man, but it seemed he overcame his bitterness being hurt in a matter of days. Which was a bit hard to swallow.

Other than that, I loved the book.

Darrell proves that you can overcome a hardship with the help of love. Wish there was one more book. The stories are a little to short though.
This was not what I was expecting for Darrell, but I liked the way it was handled. I really liked Megan, too!
