I have been awaiting a fourth full length novel in the series since the release of Jinx (Bigtime superhero series, Book 3) and the wait has been well worth it! I was pleasantly surprised by Ms. Estep's choice of heroine in Abby Appleby, but Abby was just as enjoyable as Fiona/Fiera or Carmen/Karma Girl. I also enjoyed the ubervillain, Bandit in this one. I liked the fact that he was a mostly normal guy pitted against a Bruce Wayne type hero in Talon. I think this adds depth to the Bigtime series, since it's branching out into the lesser known heroes and villains of Bigtime and not focusing on the main members of the Fearless Five. I'm rooting for Swifte's story to be next!

Jennifer Esteps Bigtime series is a wonderful and Nightingale leaves you wanting more! We've heard about Abby in her other 3 books, but this books is Abby's turn to shine. While this book is a good stand alone, I do suggest that you start off with Karma Girl.
Whether Ms. Estep is writing this series the "BIGTIME" superheroes, or her SPIDER series, she is simply put in a word, PHENOMONAL!! I wait with great anticipation for her next book to come out. I highly recommend checking her out, no matter what you read by her, READ HER!!!!!
The Bigtime superhero series is among one of my favorite series. An enjoyable mix of superheroes, fan fiction, comedy and romance to keep me turning the pages for more. I'm always sad when I get to the end of these books because I want the story to go on forever.
This writer is the reason I read. I watch her blogs anxiously for new superhero tales and I absolutely looooooove the way these are a totally guilty pleasure being that I know that they are a kinda shiny and happy series, but I happily re-read these for a pick me up ) Can totally recommend this entire series, Karma Girl is still my favourite but this is awesome too.
I've read all the books so far in this series. I've enjoyed them all but liked this one the best. For me, four stars means I'll read it again especially if it's part of a series and I'll look for other books by this author.
I was so excited to see a fourth book to the bigtime series. I absolutely love the series and been anxiously awaiting a fourth book. After reading this one I would love to see the author continue on w/ the series. Nightingale was just as charming as the three previous. At first it was hard to like Abby but she quickly grows on you as does her love interest Talon. I didnt find it as predictable as the authors last bigtime book so that was also a pleasant surprise. Any fans of this series would be remiss if they did not purchase this book as well!
I love the Bigtime series. The books are like graphic novels without pictures, only better. Not cartoonish. When I read them I feel as if I could look out my window and see superheroes chasing after ubervillains. And I really like it that the women are as powerful as the men. Mostly I love the Bigtime books because they're pure fun.

Up to now, Karma Girl was my favorite, but Nightingale is now neck-in-neck with Karma Girl. Abby and Talon were perfect as a couple. And Bandit, the ubervillain, was suitably villainous. It was fun to see the other Bigtime Superheroes too. I especially liked one scene with Fiera. I would love to see these characters in a TV series.
