I own and read all books in this series. Love your storylines and suspense. Hope there will be more. Waiting patiently.
They were all set to be married the next day but his Mom setup a scene to convince her her was cheating on her, she ran! Now years later she comes home and he’s there.
I definitely enjoyed this book. It was suspenseful in some parts and really kept my interest. Carter and Peyton's story was a great classic "Highschool sweethearts" feel good story.
Little bit of mystery, lots of sweet romance. Some suspense, and the all important happy ending. Definately an enjoyable read
Carter and Peyton a love that didn't run smoothly. A mother thinking she knows what was best for her son. Running away and time to reflex on what Peyton wanted and to grow up more. Finding a love that was still there. Good suspenseful, and characters you want to win at love.
This is another great story from Jennifer. Peyton & Carter were going to get married until his mother set it up like he cheated on her the night before the wedding. She left for TX to use her interior design degree. Has a hit show. But her mom & step dad died and she is back and finds her step sister sold her half to Carter. Now the have to fix the past to get a future.
The authors had me at the prologue. I felt a wide range of emotions along with the well-developed main characters, Carter and Peyton. I especially liked the scenes in which it seemed as though things hadn't changed between them. There were twists and turns in the plot. Love Under Fire is a fast-paced book that held my attention all the way through. I highly recommend it.
